My apprenticeship is going really well. I am learning all sorts of new things. For example, I learned how to make decorative packaging for a single rose, and how to fold
aspidistra leaves in half for bouquets. I think that technique is really lovely, since it gives lots of volume and makes the leaf look like a beautiful, glossy ribbon.
I also found a spherical, green vase suitable for up to 3 stems. Today, I put a pink tulip in it, but tomorrow I think I will try something less vibrant. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, it was already dark, so my photos are not in natural light. Nevertheless, I think some of them are quite interesting.
